The Russian-Speaking Community Support Group (RCSG) aims to preserve the cultural heritage of Russian-speaking immigrants in Washington, create recreational opportunities for youths and adults, and promote artistic and athletic activities.  RCSG organizes concerts, sports competitions, children festivals, and educational lectures.

The largest event of the year for RCSG is Summer Adventure Fest DroWA, a 3-day outdoor team competition with over 700 people in attendance.  The competition comprises soccer, volleyball, tug of war, relays, tourist triathlon, treasure hunt, song and dance contests, and more.  In the evening, DroWA features an entertainment program with rock bands, singers, dance troupes, discos, and gatherings around the campfires.  Participating team are groups of friends and groups affiliated with such companies and organizations as Microsoft, Boeing, Amazon, Hewlett Packard, FC Desna, University of Washington, and local newspapers.  While primarily a Washington event, DroWA also draws teams and visitors from other states and Canada.  Teams receive prizes and gifts from sponsors, and a $1,000 check goes to the winner of the competition.

DroWA has taken place annually since 2007, with the exception of 2020 and 2021, due to COVID.  In the summer of 2022, RCSG resumed operations and organized smaller DroWA for kids only. Inspired by the warm reception by kids and parents alike, it expanded its activities into the winter season with DroWA on the Snow in February 2023.
